The Trail to Aneroid Lake

Beautiful view of Wallowa Lake from the Aneroid trail.

We made it quite a ways on the trail and made it to a tiny lake, and tried to go farther but a large tree was across the trail. So we turned around. Thank goodness the Circus clears the trails!

This is looking toward the highway from up on top. The Minam State Park is to the left and down the hill. There are many wildflowers in bloom. We rode past some Chief Joseph markers.

Start of a Busy weekend!

These baby geese are so fluffy. They better not get too independent yet, because the eagle was eyeing them very closely.....

These geese were in Enterprise near the horse's pasture.
All the tourists are here. The quiet is replaced with diesel pickups pulling camp trailers or boats and children laughing.
